Zoe

Zofrine, a demon from the UnderWorld, was first summoned during the Bronze Age to answer the calling of a man in Mesopotamian Sumer. Her ancient powers as a fire weilder and a skilled fighter were foretold in an ancient text written long before man had mastered the blade. The man who finally obtained the knowledge to summon her used a powerful spell to bind her to a necklace that he wore all throughout their trials. She served him, protecting him for a lifetime, loyal only to his ways. He was a paranoid man and when he died the location of the necklace was lost to Zoe and she returned to the Underworld, unable to walk the mortal realm without a summoner to serve. She trained for several thousand years with higher daemons learning spells, incantations, potions, and more. Occasionally, some poor soul would come across the necklace and Zoe would travel with them for a few short years before being cast aside once more. When civilization was on the brink of the Modern age, she was summoned by a General during the Hundred Years War, who had come across her necklace in his many travels. After serving beside the General and fighting in many battles together, he gifted the necklace that contained her soul back to her. Zoe now wears that same necklace for safe keeping, so she will never have to fight on the wrong side of a war again. In the years to come she spent a lot of time fighting in wars, on both the right and the wrong side of history, learning from humans and other magical creatures she encountered. She became fond of humans despite her enslavement and went on to teach spell casting and potion making to wary travelers, learning millennia of languages, skills, and FASHION in return.
